This call for papers associates with the AIMS research group "Resources, Competences, and Dynamic Capabilities".
The conference will be held in Paris, France,
in PSB (ex-PSB) premises,
on March 22-23 (Tue-Wed), 2016.
The workshop focuses on the investigation of the micro-foundations in dynamic capabilities. The organizers are looking for research papers
confronting theoretical research with field research investigations, either on public or private organizations.
5 main topics have been identified::
Articles are accepted both in French AND in English, with dedicated tracks.
Articles submitted to the organizers will go through a double blind referee process.
The Montréal-based MANAGEMENT INTERNATIONAL has accepted to publish a thematic issue in relation with the workshop.
The peer review process covered the period March 2016 to July 2019. The thematic issue has been published online on August 31st, 2019, and on paper in September 2019, as volume 23 nb 4.
It proposes 1 position paper, 5 research articles, a review note, and an introduction by the guest editors.
Guest-editors: Valérie MERINDOL, David W. VERSAILLES, Nicolai J. FOSS, and Agusti CANALS
The workshop will take place on Paris School of Business premises:
59 rue Nationale, F-75013 PARIS.
We are located close to Subway Line 14 station Olympiades,
walking distance from Place d'Italie or Bibliothèque Francois Mitterrand
and two stations away from station Bercy when using the subway line 14.
See our Contact details page for further elements.
We have accepted 26 contributions for the workshop and 24 authors have confirmed their presence.
All along the workshop, we will run 2 sessions in parallel for the presentation of the contributions: one in English, and one in French. All joint/general sessions will be held in English.
For each paper, we organize the sessions with 15-20 minutes presentations and a minimum of 15 minutes Questions and Answers. In order to grant the oppportunity for detailed discussions, we have only 3 papers in the 2h long sessions; and 2 papers in the 90min long sessions. We will run 5 series of parallel sessions.

As soon as we receive your feedback during the sending of the results of the review process, we will build a tentative program and assign the contributions to each session.

Meanwhile, you can already send us a message and let us know about your travel constraints in order
to make sure that we best adapt the repartition of contributions.
We have installed the payement system for the registration and the payement of registration fees with a Weezevent application.
We propose therefore several payement modalities: VISA and MASTERCARD credit cards, and also direct payements with a check after an initial reservation throught the Weezevent website.
Clicking on the Weezevent box below will generate a pop-up box below -that you eventually need to allow in your browser's or antivirus' security settings- giving access to the registration and payement system. It is market with the French text "Inscription en ligne" (that stands for "online registration").
The system will generate automatic proofs of payement at the end of the process; we will also distribute invoices at the registration desk of the workshop. We can also generate a certificate of attendance to the workshop in case your institutions request it.
In case of any concern, you can contact us directly at the email address workshop (at) newpic.fr
Workshop attendees requesting the PhD student discount are expected to send us a copy of student ID card or an equivalent document, or to bring it at the workshop registratino desk.
NB: We are sorry to point out that direct bank transfers and administrative payment orders are NOT possible.
The workshop will take place some short days before Eastern, during a period where lots of artistic and cultural events are organized in Paris in general, and in the Bercy-Olympiades district in particular.
We have put options on booking for a series of rooms in an hotel close to Bercy, that is conventiently located on subway line 14 that directly links to station Olympiades (that is the closest to PSB campus, 59 rue Nationale, 75013 Paris).
Rooms are available for reservation at a special discount rate (single or double rooms, breakfast included) if you book by the date indicated below.
After that day, we will not be able to ensure the availability of the rooms, and of the special price.
All other hotels that we contacted mentioned that they cannot offer better prices for that period than the ones available on the internet.
We have therefore identified below a list of hotels conveniently located, either because they are close to Paris School of Business campus, or because they are located close to subway lines or train stations conveniently connected to Olympiades station (the closest one to PSB campus).
For each hotel, we also indicate the most convenient solution to reach PSB campus, and the internet website for booking.
